Park Access
The Royal Kunia subdivision has a private Recreation Park consisting of field space, basketball courts, tennis courts, children's tot lot, and restroom facilities. Registered homeowners are entitled to use the area. Key fobs, for access to this private park, are available at the Royal Kunia Community Association office.
Key fobs are $5.00 each for the first two (2) and $15.00 each for any additional keys, up to four (4) total. There is a $25.00 replacement charge for each lost key. Keys will not be mailed to homeowners as they need to be signed for.

In accordance with Local Government Guidelines regarding Covid-19 (Corona virus), the Royal Kunia Community Association Office is closed for walk-ins/drop-off. Events at the Recreation Park
If there will be more than 15 people in attendance, a form must be submitted to the Royal Kunia Association office for approval two (2) weeks prior to the event date. A $100.00 User Fee Deposit, payable to Royal Kunia Community Association, must accompany the form. The check will be held and returned one week after the event. Royal Kunia Country Club invites you to experience our champion golf course, offering challenges for every level of play. Golf Shop The golf shop at Royal Kunia Country Club offers an impressive array of brand name merchandise for our guests. A special area of the grounds at Royal Ascot, a famous British horse racing event. People are only allowed in if they have a ticket, and there are strict rules about dress. Men must wear very. Players must check in 45 minutes prior to tee times! Players must call Monday prior to the next tee time to ensure their position. Guests are welcome.
In accordance with Local Government Guidelines regarding Covid-19 (Corona virus), the Royal Kunia Recreation Field is closed for events/gatherings/parties and team sport activities until further notice.
On August 12, 2009 the requirements for use of the park for events was revisited by the board. Citing Article III, Section 3.05 (h) of the Amended and Restated Declaration of Protective Covenants for Royal Kunia,

'The Board may require the payment of user fees or other charges by those who use or who are entitled to use the Recreational Facilities, in combination with or in the alternative to assessing Owners under Article VI for the expenses relating to Recreational Facilities...'
The board approved a $100.00 User Fee Deposit requirement. The deposit, in the form of a check payable to Royal Kunia Community Association, is to be submitted with the Recreation Center Field Application and Indemnification Form. The check will be held and returned one week after the event. Failure to comply with Recreation Center Field Rules (see below) will result in forfeiture of the $100.00 User Fee Deposit.

Haseko Acquires Royal Kunia II
Haseko, a developer of residential, commercial and resort properties in Hawaii since 1973, has acquired the 211-acre Royal Kunia II residential project. Plans include the development of multi-family and single-family residences to help meet the need for both workforce homes and affordably-priced housing, new parks and the addition of a new recreation building and swimming pool at the Royal Kunia Community Center. Haseko will also make off-site infrastructure improvements, such as widening Kunia Road. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2022.
10/26/20: The presence of a bulldozer fronting Anoiki Street in Phase II is related to the ongoing soil testing by Haseko's Site Development.
11/2/20: Geolabs will be out on the Phase II area facing Anoiki Street drilling holes for the soil testing on Saturday, November 7 and on Saturday, November 14.
Update 11/6/20: Geolabs has canceled the November 7th and 14th soil testing work. New work schedule Tuesday, November 10 and Wednesday, November 11.
12/28/20: Geolabs will be out on the Phase II area on Wednesday, December 30 and Thursday, December 31.
